Citizens Advice Bureau
The Citizens Advice Bureau are able to provide advice on benefits, debts etc. and they have a disability advice team who can advise on disability related issues. They will also help people fill in forms such as the DLA form, Carers Allowance etc. They are no longer based at the Treaty Centre in Hounslow so you will have to refer to their website for details of helplines, appointments etc.

Our Barn Youth Club
Our Barn is a youth club for young adults with special needs from 16 to 25. They meet on Sunday at 3pm until 6pm and get involved in lots of activities. For more information see their website http://www.ourbarn.org.uk/about-our-barn/
Drop-in sessions are suitable for anyone who has an unpaid caring role or claims Carers Allowance. We give practical support to access local services and disability-related benefits, help carers with emotional resilience and aim to reduce feelings of isolation.

PPUK
This is for anyone who has a child or children who are high functioning , with or without disability. This is a very knowledgeable charity that has been going for 50 years. The website has a lot of advice and there are advisors that you can call.
Unique
Unique is an organisation that provides information and support to families who have a child or adult with a chromosome disorder. They can be contacted by phone or email for information and advice and they produce booklets on many of the different disorders. Click here to visit website.
